iOS 26 Compatible iPhones — Sri Lanka Buying Guide

Apple's iOS 26 supports many existing iPhone models, including the iPhone 13 series. The earlier version of this article incorrectly said iPhone 13 would not support iOS 26; this has been corrected against Apple's official compatibility list.

Which iPhones support iOS 26?

• iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air
• iPhone 16 series (including 16e)
• iPhone 15 series
• iPhone 14 series
• iPhone 13, 13 mini, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max
• iPhone 12 series (including mini and Pro models)
• iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max
• iPhone SE (2nd generation and later)

See Apple's official iOS 26 compatibility and installation guide for the current list and software update instructions. Not every new feature is available on every compatible iPhone.

How do I check for iOS updates?

Back up your iPhone, open Settings > General > Software Update, and follow the instructions for an update compatible with your device.

Should I upgrade my iPhone?

You do not need to replace an iPhone 13 just because of iOS 26 compatibility. Consider upgrading based on battery condition, performance, storage, camera needs and ongoing support.
